Basic Life Support with Anaphylaxis

(Click here to return to our full Course list)

Summary: This First Aid course is ideal for groups wanting a basic First Aid course without the formality of a full First Aid at Work course but also needs anaphylaxis training

This course is suitable for anyone needing to know the basics of First Aid in the workplace, where there is not the requirement for a trained First Aider. For instance, if the Business only needs an ‘Appointed Person’ or already has enough First Aiders but is conscientious enough to want to train extra staff.

It also includes Anaphylaxis training – What it is, Signs & symptoms and treatment, including practice with Adrenaline training pens as well as an introduction to the EURneffy® adrenaline device.

It is Not an (Emergency) First Aid at Work Course, Requalification or Refresher. If you need a First Aid in the Workplace qualification, look at our Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work courses.

The course contents fully meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 where relevant.

If you want a more tailored course, then we can offer the BLS course with 1 or more hours added on to cover topics specific to your need. For instance a running club could have an additional hour covering soft tissue injuries, fractures and head injuries. Do look at our Bespoke course page for further information.
