Summary: The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. It’s made up of the 16 minimum standards that should be covered if you are ‘new to care’ and should form part of a robust induction programme. The information in Standard 12 provides knowledge about the administration of Basic Life Support. This 2-hour course covers the elements required in Standard 12 and consists of a mixture of practical assessment and theoretical examination.
All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured according to currently accepted first aid principles.
The cost is £35 per person with a minimum charge of 6 people (£210).
